Structured data Coming soon

SchemaAI

Structured data that earns rich results, checked against what Google reads.

One email on the day it opens, and nothing else.

The problem

Wix marks up six kinds of page. The rest of your site is not described at all.

Wix generates preset schema for Stores products, blog posts, events, bookings services, the forum and the portfolio, plus a LocalBusiness block on the homepage built from your business information. Service pages, location pages, about, contact, landing pages and custom CMS collections get nothing. On a small business site those are most of the pages.

The page types Wix marks up, and the page types nobody marks up

Wix generates

Stores products
Blog posts
Events
Bookings services
Forum
Portfolio

Nobody generates

Service pages
Location pages
About
Contact
Landing pages
Custom CMS collections

Both columns are the plan's own: the left is its table of what Wix does natively, the right is its gap 1.

What you get

Six things it does for you

The whole site, audited free

Every page is read, not five. You get coverage, the types that are missing, the validation errors and a health score with the issues ranked, before you pay anything.

The page types Wix skips

Service, location, about, contact, landing and custom CMS collection pages, written from the rendered page copy rather than from field metadata, so a service page's own areas served and credentials end up in the markup.

One graph, not a pile of loose pages

Cross linking by @id across pages, sameAs out to your social profiles and Google Business Profile, and author, organisation, service and product joined to each other. Nothing on Wix does this.

It regenerates when you edit

Edited pages are detected and their markup rebuilt. Schema breaks silently when content changes, a price updates or a page is renamed, and this is the part that turns a one time job into something that stays correct.

You hear when markup breaks

Re-scans run monthly, weekly or daily depending on your plan, and you get an email when a block stops being valid: an image that started answering 404, hours that no longer match the page, a price that moved.

What the markup actually earned

Connect Search Console and impressions, clicks and CTR are attributed by schema type and by page, with Google's own structured data errors pulled back and mapped to the exact page and markup block that caused them.

What it looks like

What it reads, what it builds, and what it works inside

What a Wix page already carries, and the two keys it never doesJSON-LD
"@type": "LocalBusiness" homepage, from your business info
"@type": "Organization" Wix preset markup
"@id" nothing cross links between pages
"sameAs" Wix adds this to nothing

The two preset types are the plan's table of what Wix does natively. The two absent keys are its gap 2, named there in the same words.

One business, and every page that should point back at it

OrganizationYour business

  • departmentLocalBusinessEach location
  • employeePersonThe people you name
  • blogPostArticleYour posts
  • providerServiceYour service pages
  • brandProductYour Stores catalogue
  • sameAsProfilesNothing points at them

Wix emits schema one page at a time, so its entities never reference each other. The plan calls this gap the single biggest technical differentiator and the hardest for Wix to retrofit.

How a page's markup gets built, and who publishes it
  1. Render

Every page, including what loads after the first paint

  2. Extract

Prices, addresses, hours, names, quantities, dates

  3. Match

Only types Google currently supports for rich results

  4. Link

Every new node references your Organization by @id

  5. Your approval

Nothing is written to Wix until you publish it

The five stages are the prototype's "How this was built" panel, in its order. The end is open because the free plan applies markup by hand: the plan puts one click apply above it.

The Wix limits SchemaAI works inside
  • Five markups per SEO setting

Wix presets count toward the limit, so markup is consolidated and superseded rather than stacked on top.

    Managed
  • JSON-LD only, under 7,000 characters a markup

Checked before anything is written. Going over the ceiling does not warn you, it just fails to save.

    Managed
  • FAQ and HowTo rich results

Effectively dead outside government and health sites. Markup that adds weight and returns nothing is not worth the character budget.

    Not sold
  • Support for structured data

Wix Customer Care does not cover structured data issues. That is part of what a plan here buys.

    Ours

All four are the plan's own list of hard platform constraints to design around, and the first two are why there is a markup budget at all.

Questions

Before you install

Wix already adds structured data. What is left to do?

Wix covers Stores, blog posts, events, bookings, the forum and the portfolio, and adds a LocalBusiness block to your homepage. It does not describe the rest of your pages, it does not link any of them to each other, and it does not tell you when one stops being valid.

Will this duplicate the markup Wix already puts on my pages?

No. Existing preset markup is read first and then merged or superseded rather than added alongside. That matters because Wix allows five markups on a page and counts its own toward the limit, so a second copy can push you over it.

Does anything get published without me?

No. Generated markup waits in a review queue and nothing reaches Wix until you publish it. Auto publish is a setting you turn on, not a default you have to find and turn off.

What about FAQ rich results?

Google now shows them for government and health sites only, so we do not sell them. Templates for FAQ blocks are off by default, because markup that consumes your character budget and returns nothing visible is worse than no markup.

Can it write the markup into Wix for me?

On the free plan you copy the JSON-LD and paste it in, with step by step instructions for where it goes. The paid plans apply it for you, keep track of the markup budget while they do, and log every change so you can roll one back.
