Indexify

Know which pages Google has actually indexed, and push the ones it has missed.

One email on the day it opens, and nothing else.

The problem

Wix shows you what is indexed today. Nobody tells you when that changes.

Search Console answers one question at a time and answers it about right now. There is no history behind the answer, so nothing notices when a page is deindexed, when Google starts preferring a different canonical, or when a page quietly stops being served. You find out from the traffic, months later.

Two answers to the same question about one page

What your page declares

Canonical: /product/ethiopia-guji-natural
In your sitemap: yes
Crawling: allowed

What Google answers

Canonical: /product/ethiopia-guji
Index state: not indexed
Reason: duplicate, Google chose a different canonical

Every line is a field the URL Inspection API returns, laid out as the prototype's own page detail lays it out. The difference between the two panes is the Pro plan's canonical change alert.

What you get

Six things it does for you

An email when a page leaves the index

Deindexing alerts within a day of detection, on the Pro plan. The plan is blunt about which half of this product people pay for: the alerts are the product.

The canonical you did not choose

Google preferring a different URL than the one you declared gets its own alert, because it is usually what happens shortly before a page stops being served at all.

History Google does not keep

The URL Inspection API returns a snapshot and keeps nothing. Every inspection Indexify takes is stored, so a page has a record behind it instead of a status.

A check after you publish

A new or updated Wix page is re-checked a day later, three days later and a week later, so you learn whether it made it in rather than assuming it did.

The pages earning nothing

Indexed with no impressions for ninety days, and pages sitting in your sitemap that were never indexed at all. Two reports, both on the Pro plan.

A report a client can read

Scheduled reports with your own logo on the Agency plan, several Search Console properties in one view, and a CSV export of everything underneath it.

What it looks like

The state of one page, in words

What a page's status can say, and what each one means
  • Indexed

Google holds the page and can show it to somebody.

    Serving
  • Crawled, not indexed

Still fetched, no longer served. Usually the warning before a page drops out altogether.

    At risk
  • Not in the index

The page has left. This is the alert the Pro plan exists for.

    Gone
  • Excluded, with a reason

A duplicate, a canonical Google chose instead, a soft 404, a redirect error. The reason arrives with the status.

    Explained
  • Indexed and earning nothing

In the index, and no impressions in ninety days. Its own report on the Pro plan.

    Zombie
  • In your sitemap, never indexed

Listed for Google since the day you published it, and never picked up.

    Orphan

The first four are the plan's own status vocabulary, the last two its zombie and orphan reports. There is no count beside any of them: this app has no customers yet, so it has measured nothing.

Questions

Before you install

Can it make Google index a page?

No, and nothing can. Google's Indexing API only accepts job postings and broadcast events, so it ships on the Agency plan alone, only where Indexify finds that markup on your site, and it is a crawl hint rather than a promise. The word guarantee does not belong anywhere near indexing.

Wix already connects Search Console and inspects URLs. Why do I need this?

Those are free, they work, and Indexify does not sell them. What none of them provides is history, an alert, or a check that runs on its own after you publish. This is the watching, not the inspecting.

How often is a page checked?

Weekly on the free plan, with a manual refresh once a day. Daily on Pro. On Agency, a daily pass over the pages at risk and a full sweep each week, because a page leaves the index from the at-risk set and a daily sweep of everything would spend the whole of Google's quota to learn the same thing.

What about IndexNow, or Bing?

Wix already pushes to Bing automatically on Premium sites, and the key file IndexNow needs cannot live at the root of a Wix domain, so Indexify does not offer it. Reporting what Bing did with those pushes is on the roadmap and is not here yet.
